Greentube, the interactive subsidiary of Novomatic, the developer and operator of gambling technology, announced that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) to launch its content in New Jersey. This marks the company’s long-awaited debut in the United States.
Greentube will debut its content in New Jersey as its maiden step into the fast-growing US market. The supplier said that this is the first of many supply deals that would see it grow throughout the United States with other operators and into more states, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.
This strategic collaboration with GNOG, one of three internet gambling affiliates recognized by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, will guarantee that the interactive branch of the Austrian-based producer of gaming technology establishes a foothold in the US and starts its trip through US markets as more states allow online casino games.
As part of the agreement, some of Greentube’s most popular online casino games, including Diamond Cash: Mighty Sevens, Diamond Cash: Mighty Elephant, and Diamond Cash: Oasis Riches, will be made accessible to players in the Garden State at GoldenNuggetCasino.com, allowing Greentube to utilize its considerable expertise acquired in European gaming jurisdictions.
GNOG vice president Warren Steven expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement, noting Greentube’s impeccable track record over in Europe. “We have developed blue-chip titles, in addition to innovation games that have proven successful across many markets.”
“Our partnership with Greentube will significantly expand our existing offering of premium content, and we are excited to be the United States’ first operator to offer Greentube to our customers.” He added.
In his statement describing Greentube’s launch, CEO/CFO Michael Bauer stated that the US market represents “unparalleled potential” and “key territory” for the company going forward. “The company is proud to receive its first content partnership with GNOG, a company of great standing.”
Novomatic will not only establish its interactive division through its strategic collaboration with GNOG, but it will also position itself to take advantage of other future business possibilities. Meanwhile, Greentube continues to close deals across numerous gaming jurisdictions in the pursuit of its North American expansion strategy.
Greentube’s Key Account Sales Manager for the US, Courtney Honer, told SBCAmericas that the firm intends to offer New Jersey operators with market-tailored gaming content while increasing its marketing efforts with business associates as part of its expansion strategy for the US market.
The news comes just after GNOG agreed to a $1.56 billion all-stock acquisition with betting powerhouse DraftKings. Tilman Fertitta, the chairman, CEO, and biggest stakeholder of GNOG, will join the DraftKings board of directors as part of the agreement.
Greentube extended its presence in Canada in July through a collaboration with Loto-Québec, allowing access to its gaming content in a second Canadian province after its launch through the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) in British Columbia two months before.
Earlier this month, Greentube announced its first international venture outside the region. A deal with First Casino, an early entrant into Ukraine’s newly regulated iGaming market, made the company’s portfolio of online casino games available to local players.
